Introduction to CNA class.

One day only!

DATE: April 13, 2012

Session 1: 8:00 to 10:00

Session 2: 10:30 to 12:30

Session 3: 1:00 to 3:00

2-Hour Class

This class is REQUIRED before enrolling in the CNA program.
REGISTRATION FEE: $20.00
(fee is non-refundable or transferable, unless the class is cancelled)

REGISTER ONLINE: Pre-registration REQUIRED. Do not drop in.
The CNA Introduction course includes enrollment information for CNA program.


• Please arrive early, bring a #2 pencil and note paper.
• Children are not allowed.
• Plan to stay all two hours for class and testing.


Requirements:


State requires a Social Security number in order to become a CNA.
Must be 18 or older and not currently in high school.
(If less than 18 must show proof of High School Diploma or equivalent.)


This course must be taken at least two to three months prior to start date of CNA program. During this course students will be given general information on the CNA course and the admission exam. After completing this course, students will be given enrollment information for the next start dates of CNA Course.



CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant Program

Acquire training for this high-demand career. This is a 20-week program for new or working nursing assistants.
Program REGISTRATION FEE: $795.00
Registration fee includes books and materials. Not included in the fee will be the costs of a physical, TB test, uniform, gait belt.

CNA course registration date is open to students that have completed the required Introduction to CNA class.

CNA course registration must be completed in person at the Salinas MTROP Center.

CNA Continuing Education Hours (C.E.)


PRE-REGISTRATION IN PERSON REQUIRED. YOU MUST PRESENT CNA CERT. OR PROOF OF PASSING THE STATE EXAM IN ORDER TO REGISTER.
Six CNA C.E. hours upon completion. A different topic each month allows C.N.A.s the opportunity to acquire C.E. hours in order to renew their state certificate. Half-hour lunch break for each class. Bring your own lunch.
Fee: $50.00

Restorative Nursing Assistant Course


PRE-REGISTRATION IN PERSON REQUIRED. YOU MUST PRESENT CNA CERT. OR PROOF OF PASSING THE STATE EXAM IN ORDER TO REGISTER.
The course is designed for Certified Nursing Assistants who are interested in enhancing their knowledge of restorative care and advancing clinical skills. RNA Certificate will only be issued if all 16 hours are completed with a passing grade of C or better.
Fee: $200.00 includes book and materials.
Registration fee is non-refundable or transferable, unless the class is cancelled.
