To provide effective assessment information useful in individualized career planning as well as in accessing a variety of vocational opportunities
 
  • Career assessment and guidance services are provided to youth and adults
  • Assessment process aligned with SCANS 2000 (Secretary's Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills, U.S. Department of Labor)
  • The assessment process is designed to take into account differing cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds

Provides the participant with a comprehensive vocational assessment experience that increases self-esteem and enhances knowledge of career choices.

Assessment links individual vocational interests, strengths and weaknesses to potential employment and short-term training opportunities, as well as, career advancement information.
